Fire Department SCUBA Team Responds to Mianus River: Wednesday, August 29, 2007: Members of the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department's SCUBA team were dispatched to 36 Cary Road the evening of Monday, August 27, 2007 at around 11:17PM on a report of a missing person. Divers located the body of Joseph J. Moore, 54, in approximately 10 feet of water.
